'Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2' DLC will feature two new challenges, playable characters

(Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2)The "Trouble in Zombopolis: Part Two" expansion will showcase two new game modes namely the Community Challenge and the Delivery Time Challenge.

The war between the projectile-spewing plants and brain-eating zombies will resume in the city of Zombopolis as game developer PopCap dished out another downloadable content pack for "Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2" dubbed as "Trouble in Zombopolis: Part Two." This is now available for download on different gaming platforms.

The said expansion will bring further improvements within the game and evens out some of the game's characters who are a bit too powerful to beat compared to the others.

According to the video being narrated by producer Marcel Kuhn, there are a lot of new features being added to the game's latest expansion. One of the features he pointed out was the most requested Community Challenges which was showcased in the title's first installment. Kuhn mentioned that contributions made by the players on this team effort event will be posted real-time in the form of the so-called Progress-o-meter that looks like a huge thermometer situated in front of Zombopolis' town hall. This contraption has three locked chests containing community rewards and can be unlocked provided that the players meet the mission requirements.

Another additional feature is the Deliver Time Challenges where players can choose from two new playable characters: the jetpack-wielding Rocket Chomper and the quick Delivery Goat. As the name of the challenge suggests, the player's chosen character will deliver either a Chomper Pizza or a Zomburger during gameplay. Each character has 10 missions to complete and will be rewarded with coins and ultimately, a delivery badge.

Other tweaks include a fix regarding the game's loading time, Rose Teleporter's upgraded hit points (HP), and the adjustment of the location of certain turrets to various stages within the game.

Fans can check the game's website for the complete list of updates for this latest expansion.
