The Potter's House Denver pastor Chris Hill was allegedly involved with a married church employee.

According to Christian Post, his wife, Lady Joy Turner Hill, recently publicized his love affair with one of his spiritual daughters. Joy sent a text blast to the parishioners of the 7,000-member megachurch to reveal her husband's adulterous acts. It was after cops were called to their house because of their heated argument.

Obnoxious Television blog cited the contents of Joy's text message, "FYI Pastor called the police on me tonight because I yelled at him asking him to leave the house tonight and he wouldn't. I was upset because he won't stop having an affair with Shirnae, and I can't live like this anymore. They've been having an affair for SEVERAL months, and he finally admitted it yesterday (after I hired a private investigator to have them followed over the past 6 weeks). So since he wouldn't leave the house tonight. I threw his clothes in our DRY/EMPTY hot tub."

The text message was also sent to leaders of the church. She told them that the pastor was having an affair with Shirnae Macfarlane, one of the church members.

Joy also stated that this was not the first time that her husband cheated on her. She said that he cheated on her eight years ago but she remained silent.

She also mentioned that she was open to reconcile with her husband but he was unwilling. She added that she would prefer to personally expose the truth than to let it spread through gossip.

Your Black World reported that Pastor Hill has decided to take some time off the pulpit to address his marital problems.

According to the blog post, Macfarlane was fired from work. The blog also reported that her wedding in 2004 was paid for and solemnized by Pastor Hill.
