The official mid-season promo video for "Supernatural" season 11 is finally here and it shows many interesting surprises that awaits fans for the return of the popular series from CW. One of the most highlighted scenes on the video is Crowley (Mark Sheppard) being excited for his Sam toy figurine.

This might sound good to some hardcore fans of the show but unfortunately; the "Supernatural" present is not going to be available for the fans until January 2016. According to CW's latest released promo video for "Supernatural" season 11 mid-season premiere, posted on YouTube last Wednesday, Dec. 9, fans are in for a Christmas-themed episode surprise that has Santa Claus, presents under the Christmas tree and a witch named Rowena (Crowley's mother, played by Ruth Connell) dressed as Rudolph the reindeer. Furthermore, the mid-season trailer has also featured Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Lucifer trapped inside the fallen angel's cage in hell.

The main highlight of this new promo video, which also happens to be the opener, is the dream-like or hallucination-like scene of Crowley and his mother, Rowena, dressed as Rudolph the reindeer.

Of course, the Christmas spirit is not entirely complete without Santa Claus but since this is "Supernatural," it is bound to have an unexpected twist. As reported on International Business Times, Santa Claus is going to be portrayed by Lucifer actor Mark Pellegrino.

As for Dean (Jensen Ackles), according to International Business Times, he will still continue his journey into finding a way on how to destroy the brothers' new enemy, the Darkness (played by Emily Swallow), which also happens to God's brother in the lore of "Supernatural."

"Supernatural" season 11 mid-season premiere, episode 10 titled as "The Devil in the Details" will return back in the small screen next year, January 20, 2016, Wednesday, on the CW network.
