'Dragon Ball Super' episode 68 news and spoilers: New story arc reportedly begins next episode; Goku becomes target of an assassination

"Dragon Ball Super" ended the Future Trunks story arc on a hopeful note. Now, a new adventure awaits Goku, Vegeta, and the others as they all try to make Shenron grant them their wishes.
For a while there, it seemed that Future Trunks' hard-fought victory over Merged Zamasu was all for nothing as the twisted god destroyed everyone on Earth and started to cover the world with his essence. Luckily, Goku was able to find the Zeno button and summoned the Omni King, who then decided to destroy that world.
But all's well that ends well as Whis found a way for both Future Trunks and Mai to return to a previous timeline of their world. The powerful guardian also volunteered to take care of the Zamasu in that timeline.
Saying goodbye to Future Trunks might be bittersweet, but fans are ready for a new story arc to commence. There have been rumors that the upcoming episode will start the new story arc, one that would find Zeno destroying all the timelines Trunks had created, while others have posited that it will be about a multiverse tournament.
However, a tweet from premiere "Dragon Ball" fan Herms98 suggests that the new arc will be about Goku's assassination. The leaked titles for upcoming "Dragon Ball Super" episodes hint that as well.
Episode 68 will reportedly be titled "Come Forth, Shenlong! Whose Wish Shall Be Granted?!," while Episode 69 is "Goku vs Arale! The Earth Ends in a Wacky Battle?!." Champa returns in episode 70, titled "Champa's Challenge! This Time We Face Off in Baseball!!," while episode 71 carries the title "Death to Goku! A Hit Job That Can't Be Refused."
Aside from episode 68, there's no news yet on whether those are the titles that will be followed.
Meanwhile, a trailer for episode 68 suggests that it might be a filler episode, albeit an amusing one. The clip starts with Goku searching for the Dragon Balls as he plans to revive King Kai Sama. But it seems everyone has a wish they want granted. Viewers are given glimpes of Pilaf, Master Roshi stopping Oolong, Gohan holding what appears to be a feverish Pan, and 18 with a trunk full of money as they all jockey to have their wish heard.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 68 is scheduled to be aired on Fuji TV on Nov. 27 at 9:30 a.m.
