Some new rumors that have emerged recently are giving people an even better idea of what the Galaxy Note 6 may ultimately end up being like.

First off is a rumor that suggests that the phablet will be equipped with a new USB port.

Specifically, the rumor coming courtesy of Sam Mobile suggests that the Note 6 will feature the USB Type-C port.

If the USB Type-C rumor turns out to be true then that could translate to the Note 6 being given added functionality that would not have been accessible had a different type of port been installed.

While the potential inclusion of the USB Type-C port may already excite those who are looking forward to the arrival of the Galaxy Note 6, there is one other rumor that could make the rumored phablet even more appealing.

Recently, Gizmochina was able to spot a new Weibo post related to the Note 6, and it provided details about some of the phablet's possible specs.

Arguably, the most eye-catching detail included in that post is the one related to the upcoming phablet's internal storage, and it suggests that the Note 6 could end up providing users with as much as 256GB of available space.

That enormous amount of internal storage space will then reportedly be paired with 6GB of RAM, ensuring that the Galaxy Note 6 will have enough memory to satisfy even the most voracious of gigabyte consumers.

Beyond the memory enhancements, the Note 6 will also reportedly feature the Snapdragon 823 processor as well as an upgraded battery for good measure.

Unfortunately, as much as people may want these specs to be the real deal, it's still tough to tell if that will end up being the case.

Samsung has still yet to officially unveil the Galaxy Note 6, and until then, exactly what it will be capable of will remain a mystery, though recent rumors will likely only serve to generate even more excitement for the new phablet.
