Galaxy S6 Edge vs. Galaxy Note Edge: S6 Edge Plus has the speed and impressive specs

With the release of the Galaxy S6 Edge , Samsung is hoping that it will be able to attract more customers to its curved screen devices. However, there is another phablet, the Galaxy Note Edge that comes with similar features, which could end up being a major competitor. Here is how these two curved screen devices compare.
Design
There are curved edges on both of these devices, however, it is important to take note that they are different. The S6 Edge comes with curves over the right and left sides of the screen and users can customize one of them. They can add five favorite apps to the Apps Edge, and then use the People Edge to quickly access five favorite contacts. Additionally, users will be able to view notifications, alerts, a night clock and lighting assigned to each contact on the edge. As for its build, it has a metal frame with Gorilla Glass 4 on its front and back, a finger print scanner and it comes in black, white, gold and silver.
The Note Edge, on the other hand, has a curved screen that flows over its right edge but it can also be customized to display favorite apps, a night clock, messages, alerts and tools such as a ruler and voice recorder. As for its build, it has a metal frame, plastic on its body and fake leather on its back panel along with a fingerprint scanner.
Display
The size of the display of these two devices are almost similar. The S6 Edge has a super AMOLED screen measuring 5.7 inches with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a density of 518 pixels per inch. On the Note Edge is a slightly smaller 5.6 inch screen with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a density of 524 pixels per inch.
Specs
There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, along with a Krait 450 CPU with four cores clocked at 2.7 GHz and an Adreno 420 GPU in the Note Edge. As for the S6 Edge , it comes with an Exynos 7420 chipset, coupled with an octa-core CPU comprised of four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz and four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2.1 GHz and a Mali-T760MP8 GPU.
Memory
The Note Edge has an advantage as it has a memory slot which allows for the addition of up to 128 GB of external storage while the S6 Edge does not have a slot. As for RAM, the S6 Edge has 4 GB and the Note Edge has 3 GB.
Price
The Galaxy Note Edge is slightly cheaper as it was released last year and is now priced at $229 with a two-year contract. The 32 GB S6 Edge , on the other hand, costs $299.99 with a similar contract.
