The last episode of 'NCIS Los Angeles' season 6 proved to be a tough one for Special Agent Sam Hanna (LL Cool J), as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) took him away.

The "SEAL Hunter" episode started with Hanna being arrested in connection with murder. While this could instantly send him into a fit and panic, his boss, Operations Manager Henrietta Lange (Linda Hunt), told him to be calm and cooperate with the FBI for the time being.

Meanwhile, the daily routines of his teammates, such as Detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Special Agent Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah), were interrupted. Their co-workers, Hetty and G spoke to the Secretary of State, upon learning the details of Hanna's arrest.

The Secretary of State informed the team that they are not allowed to interfere with the FBI's investigation on Hanna. Assistant Director Owen Granger (Miguel Ferrer) requested for G to surrender his badge, and informed him that we will not be able given any assignments on the field until further notice.

According to the investigation, Hanna is facing charges for the murder of a woman named Leyla Walden, after his DNA was discovered at the crime scene. The team then realizes that their colleague was busy working on an undercover operation the night of the murder, and that there is no solid alibi that can confirm his presence at the said killing.
