'No Man's Sky' release date news: Hello Games is working first DLC even before launch

Hello Games just recently announced that their long overdue title dubbed as "No Man's Sky" has reached gold.
The team, led by managing director Sean Murray, was so ecstatic about the game's progress that they even tweeted a photo of themselves with the disc of the finished game. Moreover, it is now reported that Murray's team is hard at work again so that "No Man's Sky" will be getting its very first update soon.
With the title's massive gameplay, many players are now wondering as to what will be its file size. Murray replied to this on Twitter, saying that the game will only eat up 6 GB of space and added that most of the data in it were just audio. Since Murray already answered what most players were asking, the next question would be on the size of the game's forthcoming downloadable content.
With that said, Murray also tweeted that they are currently in the works on the game's first update and explained that they are also waiting for a certain build to upload. Meanwhile, he also tweeted what "RC1" meant on the game's disc that they previously showed and said that it stood for Release Candidate 1 before moving on to some details of the upcoming game.

The game was supposed to be released last month, but due to some circumstances, it was moved to August. This move made expectant fans feel disappointed and some even mad at Murray to the extent that they were constantly sending him threats. Murray, on the other hand, jokingly tweeted that he was getting so many threats from disgruntled fans that their office is well prepared just like in "Home Alone."
Moreover, "No Man's Sky's" gameplay is so massive that it's impossible to finish since it was estimated that the game will contain a staggering 18 quintillion planets. Visiting each planet for just one second would most likely take players an unimaginable 500 billion years to finally complete.
