The newest iteration of the popular wrestling video game "WWE 2K" is definitely underway and fans are looking forward to what surprises the new game will bring.

To help with the release of "WWE 2K16", Visual Concepts and 2K are looking for a game designer who can contribute to the franchise's success.

The game's developers are aiming to get a designer who has the right educational background (art, game design or programming) and experience, someone who will definitely be an asset to the company. Based on the ad that they posted, the perfect candidate should have the right experience and skill. He or she preferably should have worked as a designer in at least two commercial video game products.  

Aside from that technical aspect, there are still a lot of questions that fans are still awaiting the answers to. For one, who will be on the all-important game cover? There were grumblings when The Rock and John Cena were on the cover of "WWE 2K14" and "WWE 2K15" respectively. While the two have admittedly done their time on the WWE and were some of the biggest stars of their day, they were no longer active in wrestling at the time.

Fans thought that someone more relevant or popular to the sport should have had the honor. Some names that are being bandied about are Brock Lesnar, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

But one thing gamers can look forward to when they play "WWE 2K16" is the technology that the developers used, especially with reports that 2K Sports are not just recycling old footage. One image that came out a few months back was of Rusev being scanned for the game. More than 96 cameras were used to capture every angle of the wrestler's body, hinting that the new game's graphics will be more detailed and realistically rendered.

"WWE 2k16" is set to be released on October 27.
